A two-year-old girl died in Gémozac, Charente-Maritime, after being bitten by a dog, sources close to the investigation report to AFP. The animal was the family dog, it belonged to the father of the victim.
The child died on the night of August 8-9, despite the emergency response. She died in the fire brigade ambulance, according to our colleagues from South West.

An open investigation was entrusted to the territorial gendarmerie brigade of Gémozac, co-entered with the research brigade of the company of Saintes.
