The PSP Regional Command does not foresee the displacement, for now, of any team of the Rapid Intervention Brigade to Porto Santo
Despite the calls, or even demands from businessmen and some local officials, PSP-Madeira does not intend, for the time being, to send any team from the BIR – Rapid Intervention Brigade to the golden island.
According to what JM learned from a police source, the Regional Command believes in the device that was placed on the golden island and considers that it is a capable and sufficient team.
The idea that the PSP should even send a BIR team falls, as it was defended the face of the Café do Teatro group just yesterday. Dário Silva commented on the latest disagreements with young people on the golden island and even demanded the presence of the BIR in Porto Santo.
Now, according to the same police source, despite the most tense moment experienced these days on the island, the PSP of Madeira should not give in, at least for now, as it considers the presence of the PSP in the molds it was prepared for this summer to be adequate. .
