Billie Eilish “What Was I Made For” Hitmakers Award and Red Carpet Interview Mentioning Her Sexuality

Eilish made it clear in a recent interview with Variety that she likes women.

At this year’s “Hitmakers” ceremony, she was asked to comment further on this.

“Thank you Variety for the award and for exposing me on the red carpet at 11 in the morning instead of talking about anything else that matters.

I like boys and girls, leave me alone on this please.

Who cares anyway? Better stream “What Was I Made For,” Eilish writes on Instagram.

In a magazine interview published on November 13, Eilish said: “I never thought I could get on well with girls.”

“I love them so much. I love them as people. I’m attracted to them as people. I’m really attracted to them.”

Asked about her sexuality at a red carpet event, she said: “I had no idea people didn’t know.”

“I saw the article and I was like, ‘Oh, I guess I came out of the closet today.’ But it’s exciting to me… It’s cool that they know,” said Eilish.

She also stated that she doesn’t really believe in the concept of “coming out” and the idea that people should come out with their sexuality. “Why can’t we just exist?” she asked. “I’ve been doing this for a long time and I just don’t talk about it.”

Billie, along with her producer brother Phineas, won the song “What Was I Made For” for the movie “Barbie” in the category “Movie Song of the Year”.
