Düsseldorf – The sovereign second division leader Arminia Bielefeld shows a little nerve on the way back to the Bundesliga in his own stadium.

The team of coach Uwe Neuhaus did not go beyond a 1: 1 (1: 1) against the relegation-threatened 1. FC Nürnberg on Saturday. Even against VfL Osnabrück there was a 1-1 at the beginning. The East Westphalia went through the 18th goal of the season from Fabian Klos (14th minute), but Patrick Erras equalized before the break for the Franks (44th).

“If you spread the bear’s fur before he is shot, we can experience a nasty surprise,” said Arminia sports director Samir Arabi at Sky during the half-time break. Bielefeld is now 57 points six points ahead of VfB Stuttgart and eight over the third Hamburger SV. On Sunday, VfB against VfL Osnabrück (1.30 p.m.) can move up to three points with the possible third win in a row. 1. FC Heidenheim could with a win at Hannover 96 replace Hamburg SV from third place for the time being. And HSV can advance to Holstein Kiel in the northern duel on Monday (8:30 p.m.) at the end of the 30th matchday.

In the relegation battle, taillight Dynamo Dresden celebrated a 3: 2 (2: 2) success thanks to Simon Makienok’s late winning goal (89th). Dynamo (27 points) still has two catch-up games and six points behind in 15th place. Jahn Regensburg meanwhile stopped the run of Darmstadt 98 in the third Saturday game with a clear 3-0 (1-0).

Bielefeld started the game against Nuremberg again confidently and took the lead with a header from Klos. The 18th goal was a personal record for the 32-year-old. In the list of goalscorers, he equaled the contractions of Wiesbaden’s Manuel Schäffler. But the guests of coach Jens Keller came to equalization through Erras shortly before the break (44.). With 33 points now Nuremberg has to fight in the fight for relegation.

In Wiesbaden a turbulent game with four goals developed in the first half. Dresden took the lead through an own goal from Wehen Wiesbaden’s Dominik Franke (9th). But the hosts turned the game within 115 seconds through Daniel-Kofi Kyereh (24th) and Moritz Kuhn (25th) and could have scored the 3-1 multiple times. But Patrick Schmidt (44.) equalized for Dresden before the break. Dynamo was able to cheer thanks to Makienok (89th) and the yellow-red card for Patrick Schmidt (90th + 4). For Wehen Wiesbaden it was the fourth loss in a row.

Darmstadt 98 had suffered only one loss in 14 games before the 30th matchday. With that, the team of coach Dimitrios Grammozis was moved into the wider circle of candidates for promotion. But in Regensburg there was a clear defeat due to the goals conceded by Marcel Correia (7th), Max Besuschkow (52nd) and Jann George (77th). Darmstadt’s Tobias Kempe shot a penalty over the goal (67.).

VfL Bochum was able to continue its most recent successful streak in the second division the day before. The Revierclub won the duel of the former first division clubs with FC St. Pauli 2-0 (1-0) and has now been unbeaten for eight games in a row. Robert Zulj (15th minute / penalty) and Maxim Leitsch (73th) gave Thomas Reis’s team their third home win in a row at the start of matchday 30.

SpVgg Greuther Fürth did not find its way out of their crisis against SV Sandhausen on Friday. The Francs lost 1: 2 (0: 2) to the guests from Baden-Württemberg. Kevin Behrens (15th minute / penalty) and Julius Biada (39th) put the guests in the lead before the break. After a header from Daniel Keita-Ruel (71.) the Fürth again raised hope.
