Celeste Castro is an actress, teacher, producer, confectioner and now she is dedicated to designing and selling clothing for pets together with her daughter Morena. “Bianca was the dog of my childhood. Actually, she belonged to my sister, but she spent all her life in my parents’ house. She died in full quarantine. She hit us a lot and especially the children. She was another person in my house. She was discovered breast cancer and if we operated on her, we had a high probability that she would not survive. The entrepreneurship is mother and daughter and in a few days it became a boom in the networks for both dogs and cats. “My daughter is a dog lover and they always liked to dress them. We were looking for something more elegant to wear them but we could not find. So we decided to design them and we took it to Rosa, our dressmaker.”
Although few people dress the dogs because of the heat, the parties came as a great opportunity. “Since we offer more formal attire, we’ve been selling a lot for the holidays. We have a lot in stock, but if you need to tailor it we need three or four days to order it.”
