Are there still tickets to buy?

If you don’t have tickets for the concert in Cologne yet, you will be disappointed. According to concert organizer Live Nation, the tickets are sold out. However, if you have received a ticket in advance, you should pay attention to the following on Thursday:

Admission and start of the concert

The concert officially starts at 6.30 p.m., with admission from 4.30 p.m. The official end of the concert should be at 10:30 p.m.

Arrival by public transport

In order to avoid waiting times before the concert, concert-goers are advised to arrive early. It is best to use public transport. The concert ticket is valid as a ticket for the buses and trains of the Cologne transport company (KVB) and in the adjacent VRS network area.

The Rheinenergiestadion can be reached with tram lines 1 and 7 of the KVB as well as with the S-Bahn lines S12 and S19. Good transfer points from the long-distance and regional trains to line 1 are the stations “Köln Messe/Deutz” and “Köln Weiden West”.

Tram line 1 stops directly at the stadium. The KVB uses additional special trains on this line before and after the concert, which take the spectators to the venue before the concert and back to the city or to Cologne Weiden West after the concert.

Tram line 7 runs south of the Rheinenergie Stadium. The stadium can be easily reached on foot from the “Stüttgenhof” stop. Kölner Sportstätten GmbH offers a free shuttle service for the concert from the “Haus Vorst/Marsdorf” stop. This will take guests to the Südallee/Junkersdorf bus stop from 4 p.m. on the day of the concert. After the end of the concert, the shuttle service to the “Haus Vorst/Marsdorf” stop is available for 1.5 hours.

Arrival by car

There are 7,500 parking spaces available at the Rheinenergiestadion for concert-goers arriving by car. Nevertheless, it is recommended to drive to the Park and Ride facilities in Weiden West or Marsdorf and change from there to the KVB or the shuttle service.
