Just 4 hours separated the Ministry of Health’s announcement of the numbers of new Corona virus infections in Egypt on Thursday, and the announcement of Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, the numbers of infections in Egypt within 24 hours.

On the fifth of this evening, Madbouli announced, that the number of Corona patients in Egypt reached 850 cases, they increased by 14 at nine thirty when the Ministry of Health spokesman Khaled Mujahid announced his daily statement on the number of cases in Egypt.

Madbouly warned of the increasing number of injuries in the coming days, saying: “The next week will hear a lot higher daily numbers.”

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, said that the number of Corona injuries in Egypt has reached 850.

The latest toll announced by the Ministry of Health, yesterday, Wednesday, 779 cases, to increase today about 71 cases in the largest daily outcome since the spread of the virus in Egypt.

After 4 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population announced, on Thursday, that 22 cases of coronaviruses have been discharged from the isolation hospital, including German nationals and 21 Egyptians, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 201 Condition until today.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson of the ministry, said that the number of cases whose laboratory results were converted from positive to negative for Corona virus (Covid-19) increased to 282 cases, including the 201 recovering.

He added that 86 new cases that had positive laboratory analyzes of the virus were recorded, all of them Egyptians, including those returning from abroad in addition to those who had contacts with positive cases that had been discovered and announced previously, as part of the ministry’s surveillance and investigation procedures according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 6 cases, all of them Egyptians.

“Mujahid” said that all registered cases of HIV positive in isolation hospitals are subject to medical care, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization.

Mujahid stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until Thursday, is 865 cases, including 201 cases that were cured and discharged from the isolation hospital, and 58 deaths.

In the same context, Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, reviewed the analysis of data of the epidemiological situation of the new Corona virus in the Arab Republic of Egypt compared to the epidemiological situation in some countries in the Middle East and some countries that have outbreaks the disease, as the average number of infections in Egypt is 7 injuries per million citizens, and it is still The average number of deaths is 0.4 per million citizens, explaining that the average number of injuries in some Middle Eastern countries reached from 17 to 500 injuries per million, while the average number of deaths from one death was 36 cases per million citizens.

The minister added that the average number of injuries in countries with outbreaks exceeded 2000 cases and 200 deaths per million citizens, stressing that the increases in injuries in Egypt correspond to the expected rates for each week, explaining that Egypt is still one of the lowest rates of infection globally in relation to the population.

The Minister pointed out that, according to what was monitored by the monitoring and investigation teams, it was found that some returnees from abroad who had contacts with positive cases did not adhere to the self-isolation procedures for a period of 14 days, which contributed to the increase in the number of injuries, as she appealed to all comers from outside Egypt and all those involved in positive cases and their families To follow the measures taken by the state and the Ministry of Health and Population instructions regarding self-isolation, which were announced in media statements and through social media and various media, in addition to publishing them on the official website of the Ministry of Health and Population.

It also appealed to all citizens in the Arab Republic of Egypt, especially the governorates of Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said and Damietta, to adhere to self-isolation and non-contact, which contributes to reducing the number of injuries.

She added that it was decided today during the crisis room meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, to launch 1,000 mobile clinics at the sites of giant national projects and industrial areas, to provide medical service to all workers in these projects to ensure their safety and maintain the continuity of production, in addition to carrying out disinfection and sterilization operations for these sites and provide awareness of procedures And prevention methods, and a pharmacy will be provided to dispense medications for some chronic diseases and others.

Mujahid reiterated not to monitor any cases infected or suspected of being infected with the new Corona virus in all governorates of the Republic except what has been announced, indicating that once any infections appear, they will be announced immediately, in full transparency according to the international health regulations, and in coordination with the World Health Organization.

The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates, follow the situation first-hand regarding the “emerging corona” virus, and take all necessary precautions against any viruses or infectious diseases, as the hotline “105” and “15335” has been allocated to receive citizens’ inquiries about a virus Corona emerging and infectious diseases.
