The June update for the beta version of the Xbox-App for Windows 10 is there and brings some interesting innovations. On the one hand, the performance adjustment screw was turned again, so that the app should not only react faster, but downloads should also be downloaded much faster. On the other hand, the app now only uses a third of the amount of memory that was previously required to operate the app.
Friends of game mods can also look forward to. The Xbox beta app now allows you to install mods for a handful of selected games. So far, the whole thing only works with the following titles:
- DiRT Rallye 2.0
- Farming Simulator 17
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- Into the Breach
- MudRunner
If more developers decide to support the mod function of the Xbox app, this list will of course be expanded. As a player, you then have the option of displaying mods from different sides and installing them directly via the app.
