Philipp Bouteiller – alone on the TXL runway. Half a year ago it would have been the occasion for a major police operation: A jogger in the middle of the 60-wide runway at Berlin’s Tegel Airport.
In January 2021 nobody cares anymore, at most the hares turn up their nose offended by the disturbance. The man who was enjoying his life there was Philipp Bouteiller, the managing director of “Tegel Projekt GmbH”. This is the public company under whose leadership the conversion of the former TXL airport into a modern research and business park with 30,000 jobs will be created.
Also the move in of up to 2000 students the Beuth University in Terminal A, the main building of the airport, will take place under the project management of this company.
