According to police spokesman Halweg, after the evidence had been viewed, the matter would be passed on to the public prosecutor, who would then decide how to proceed.

Among other things, Roger Waters had worn a long, black leather coat and a red bandage with crossed hammers on a white background on his left upper arm.

The CDU had called for the concert to be canceled

The 79-year-old former “Pink Floyd” member repeated anti-Israel and anti-Semitic statements accused. According to his own statements, he is a member of the BDS movement, which the Bundestag has classified as anti-Semitic – boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel. In addition, Waters is said to be positive about the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine.

The CDU parliamentary group in the House of Representatives had asked the organizer or the hall operator in advance to cancel Waters’ performance. The security authorities had observed the concert for possible violations of the law.
