British cyclist Simon Yates continues to dominate the Tirreno-Adriatico overall standings.
After 171 kilometers on the route from Castelfidara to Senigallie, the British Simon Yates defended the interim lead. The Vuelta champion from 2018 still has a 16-second lead over the Pole Rafal Majka, another 23 seconds back is the former winner of the Tour de France Geraint Thomas.
On Sunday, there are 181 kilometers from Pieve Torino to Loreto on the program, and on Monday the race will culminate in a ten-kilometer time trial for individuals with a start and finish in San Benedetto del Tronto.
