Belarusians Receiving Summonses After Applying for Polish Visas: Is Minsk Watching Potential Conscripts?

Belarusians started receiving summonses a few days after applying for Polish visas.

Citizens of Belarus who applied for a work visa to Poland began to receive summonses. At first, no significance was attached to such a coincidence, but when the situation began to repeat itself, it became clear that Minsk was watching its potential conscripts.

Local edition “Mirror” writesthat their reader Vladimir was going to apply for a Polish work visa, and a few days after filing, he received a summons.

I signed up on my own, through VFS Global (Visa Center of Poland in Belarus. – Ed.). And literally a few days later I received a summons to work. Then I did not attach any importance to it“, says the 20-year-old.

However, in early August, his friend also applied for a visa and received a summons three days later. This coincidence caused a lot of questions among young people.

Now Vladimir is undergoing a medical examination, and his friend has already been called to the training camp. By the way, Vladimir tried to leave Belarus, but they simply did not let him out of the country. It turned out that before you leave, you have to serve.

The publication writes that the military registration and enlistment offices can receive the data of Belarusians who are going to leave the country after the online verification procedure in the Interbank Identification System (ISI) when applying for a visa. To do this, you must enter an identification number and a phone number. Experts familiar with how the system works say the security forces receive all the data, down to what type of visa is requested, the date and place of application.

As previously reported, after the threats of the “Wagnerites” invading NATO countries, Lukashenka began military training near the borders of Poland and Lithuania.

Meanwhile, Latvia introduces enhanced mode guards on the border with Belarus in the city of Daugavpils and three counties – Ludza, Kraslava and Augshdaugava.
