Before bTV: Sashko’s mother doesn’t think he was kidnapped. She got along well with the volunteers

The mother of 12-year-old Alexander, who has been missing for 8 days, doesn’t believe the child was abducted. According to Radostina Tsvetanova, he got lost and most likely got lost with the volunteers. She shared this with bTV.

“I’m glad Alexander is alive and well. The feeling is indescribable, I’m not myself yet, neither physically nor mentally. I’ve always kept in touch with the father of the child. He was the first to call me to tell me that Sashko is fine” Radostina Tsvetanova said.

She will soon be returning to Bulgaria to see her son, they have not seen each other for about two years. She is ready to assist law enforcement when they deem it appropriate.

“So far, I have only had a conversation with a police detective from Pernik and was ready to cooperate, but they told me that the interrogation could not be conducted officially like this. They added that when I get home, I should contact the law enforcement authorities.” said Alexander’s mother.

“I suppose if he had been kidnapped, things would have been related to the announced reward. At the moment, nobody cares about him. My only explanation is that it is some kind of miracle, because Sashko is resilient,” said the mother excited.

Radostina Cvetanova thanked the mayor of Pernik, the volunteers, the institutions and all those who looked for Sashko. She also said that she was already disappointed that her son would be found, but she still hadn’t given up hope and communication with her son’s father helped her.

Radostina Cvetanova specified that the two are divorced, and parental authority has been recognized to her ex-husband.

She added that Sashko’s father is waiting for their child to be transferred to a regular ward. “As far as I know, Alexander recognized him and hugged him. There is no further information on his condition.”
