SEOUL – Not only innovation, LG Electronics (LG) is also good at creating electronic products in terms of creating impressive designs. The proof, LG has just successfully won 31 Red Dot Award awards that specifically give appreciation to product design.
“As a brand that strives to deliver quality products with outstanding designs, it is always a great honor to receive recognition from Red Dot,” said Lee Chul-bae, Head of LG Electronics Corporate Design Management Center. The most special of these awards, according to him, is the success of the LG Designer Appliance in winning five awards which include the InstaView® Door-in-Door® refrigerator, Refrigerator and Freezer pair, CordZero vacuum cleaner, AC, and Styler.
The Red Dot Design Award itself is one of the three most prestigious professional design competitions in the world with a distinctive feature of quality considerations and outstanding design applications. This year around 7,800 products have been submitted for jury consideration in the Red Dot awards.
In an effort to fulfill the user’s desire for electronic devices that are in harmony with the overall design of the placement space, the LG Designer Appliance is made with a variety of selected materials. “Such as stainless steel, glass, metal and FENIX which are innovative materials with the advanced coating technology developed by Arpa Industriale,” said Lee Chul-bae.
Furthermore, related to the success of winning the Red Dot Award, Lee Chul-bae stated that this achievement would encourage LG to continue to present innovative products in impressive designs. “LG is dedicated to fulfilling consumers’ desire to improve the quality of their space with high-quality products that also look good to the eye. We will continue to pursue innovative designs to continue to meet these expectations, “concluded Lee Chul-bae.
