María de la Concepción Macedo Guzmán is the real name of the Golden Cinema actress, Rita Macedo, who ended his days in a fort depression that led her to suicide in the 90s, after being recognized as one of the most outstanding actresses of the time.
Macedo, who was the cousin of singer Enrique Guzmán on his mother’s side, the writer Julia Guzmán. She lived a childhood away from her parents, who divorced shortly after she was born, so her childhood was spent in boarding schools between Mexico and the United States.
In love he was not very lucky, he married three times. The first in 1943, with the television and theater producer Luis de Llano Palmer, with whom she had two children: the actress and singer Julissa and the television producer Luis de Llano Macedo, but the marriage ended in 1946.
Her second marriage was to Pablo Palomino, a marriage that ended shortly after amid violence and abuse. Her third wedding was with the writer Carlos Fuentes, in 1957, with whom she had a daughter, the writer Cecilia Fuentes. In 1969, Macedo decided to divorce Fuentes due to his infidelities.
