In the tournament with the eighth number, the Latvian duo Brailko / Namiķe beat Ukraine over Sofia Rilova / Eva Serdyuk in the semifinals with the result 2-0 (24:22, 21:16).
The final will take place on Sunday afternoon.
It has already been reported that on Friday the Latvian women’s duo Brailko / Namiķe finished the H group game with victory in all three matches and gained the right to resume games from the second round of the elimination match. On Saturday, they overcame the second round and quarterfinals of the elimination tournament with two set victories.
Rūdolfs Stankevičs / Artūrs Rinkevičs continues the fight for the fifth place in the men’s tournament.
In the main event, 32 duos were divided into eight subgroups of four each. Group winners will start the elimination tournament from the second round, and second and third place winners will start from the first round.
