The FIGC has announced that the Federal Prosecutor has opened an investigation to ascertain any violations of the anti-covid protocol

Still news on the possible outbreak of covid-19 which broke out in recent days in the Lazio and that forced the Capitoline club to play against Brugge without teaming. As announced today the FIGC with a press release, the Federal Prosecutor opened an investigation against the Capitoline club “to ascertain any violations of the health protocols aimed at containing the Covid-19 epidemic approved by the FIGC and validated by the Government Authority”.

The prosecutor Giuseppe Chinè has ordered two inspections at the sports center of Formello since the first indications on the positivity of some players, “during which the representatives of the pool set up in the Prosecutor’s Office to verify compliance with the health protocols heard the president Claudio Lotito and the social doctor Ivo Pulcini, as well as acquiring the reports of the swabs made before the UEFA Champions League Club Brugge-Lazio match and the Serie A Torino-Lazio championship ”.
