Bayern vs Chelsea – The Blues lost badly, Frank Lampard touches Eden Hazard page all

Laga Bayern vs Chelsea in the second leg of the last 16 of the Champions League which took place at the Allianz Stadium, Sunday (9/8/2020) in the morning WIB, ended with a score of 4-1.

Bayern Munich goals scored by Robert Lewandowski (10′-p-, 84 ‘), Ivan Perisic (24’) and Corentin Tolisso (76 ‘).

Meanwhile, the only Chelsea goal was created by Tammy Abraham (44 ‘).

These results made Chelsea eliminated from the Champions League because they lost 1-7 on aggregate.

In the first leg which was held last February, Chelsea lost 0-3.

After the match, Frank Lampard admitted that his team was still in transition from the golden generation which was strengthened by players such as Petr Cech, Didier Drogba, to Eden Hazard.

The coach and former Chelsea player stressed that his team is currently in the process of rebuilding their squad.

Frank Lampard also openly said Eden Hazard’s departure greatly affected his team.

“At the moment we are still in process. In the last 20 years we have a team with major players like (Eden) Hazard, (Diego) Costa, Petr Cech, John Terry and (Didier) Drogba,” Frank Lampard told BT Sports.

“This is not something normal for Chelsea. We lost the best player in the league to Eden Hazard,” added Lampard.

Frank Lampard is also reluctant to regret Chelsea’s crushing defeat to Bayern Munich.

According to him, the Chelsea squad today lost experience in the Champions League compared to Bayern Munich.

However, Lampard said that it would be a valuable lesson for Chelsea.

“It is good training for us against Bayern Munich with their experience in the Champions League,” he said.

“Many of our players have made their debuts this season.”

“Now is the time to improve the team’s ability. I know in which aspects we can develop,” Frank Lampard concluded.
