Bayern Munich’s Lina Magull not worried about Wolfsburg pressure, says Chelsea facilities were ‘unprofessional’

In an interview with Sportbuzzer, Bayern Munich Frauen star Lina Magull is not concerned about the pressure coming from a charging Wolfsburg as the two powers prepare to meet on Sunday.

“Both teams feel the pressure. We are the hunted, Wolfsburg is the defending champion, ”Magull said. “Without a doubt, Wolfsburg will enter the game with the same attitude as in the cup. I know it is a typical phrase, but the little things will make a difference. However, we will not give them anything and we will show a different face than the last time they met ”.

When asked about Frauen’s coverage, Magull knows the team doesn’t get as much as it deserves, but

“Regionally it is quite minor. However, you also have to keep in mind that Munich is an internationally and culturally diverse city, and there are many issues that need to be addressed, ”Magull said. “Women’s football falls a bit on the road. From the club side, we cannot complain, the club really does a lot for us ”.

One club that didn’t do much for Frauen was Chelsea. Magull said the changing room facilities were not ideal for a major competition like the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

“Chelsea’s Kingsmeadow Stadium has a certain charm. It’s typically English and a bit old-fashioned, ”Magull said. “But our dressing rooms were unprofessional. It was a large room with a bar next to it. They just put chairs there and the showers were outside (the room). We had hot water and from that perspective it was not a problem. But if you consider how the league is presented, it was amazing. But it was nothing that influenced the game. We accept it and we don’t get angry about it.
