Alba Berlin and co-favorite FC Bayern Munich remain undefeated in the Bundesliga in their third game.
The defending champion from the capital won against Telekom Baskets Bonn on Sunday with a clear 97:74 (48:38). The Munich team defeated the MHP giant Ludwigsburg in the top game with 93:70 (38:38). In the table, ratiopharm Ulm leads thanks to the better basket ratio ahead of FC Bayern and Alba with 6: 0 points each.
As in the previous league games, the Munich team had some difficulties at the beginning against the previously undefeated Ludwigsburg and sometimes ran after a ten-point deficit. But after the break, the Munich team were much more effective and more accurate than the guests and made the preliminary decision with a 15-0 run. Bayern playmaker Wade Baldwin convinced with 21 points.
Two days after the Euroleague defeat against Zenit St. Petersburg (66:73), Alba Berlin also needed ten minutes against Bonn to get going. After the 25:25 in the first quarter, the hosts dominated the rest of the game and easily expanded the ten-point lead after the break.
