Battlefield 2042 will present its story with a short film

Although this year’s Battlefield will not have a single-player story campaign, the creators seem to care about exposing the believable scenes of war in the near future. According to official information, the venue of the game is a world in which there have been decades of devastation due to climate change. This led, among other things, to the disintegration of the European Union and “climate refugees”, nicknamed “No-Pats”. In 2040, he will add to that Kesslerov syndrome and will cause 70% of orbiting satellites to crash. The result is a global outage that escalates tensions between America and Russia until the war in 2042.

The creators of the game plan to present the history of their world and the events leading up to the war in more detail next week in the form of a short film called “Exodus”:
