Also in episode four of “Battle of Reality Stars” the signs point to a riot: Georgina messes with two candidates and Melissa provides something to talk about with an intimate confession. In addition, two newcomers plunge into the “Trash TV” adventure.

It could be so beautiful on Phuket, there where “Battle of the Reality Stars“takes place. Especially if the tour group from the shallows of the German celebrity waiting bank weren’t there. But how is it with trash formats: At the end of each episode you can send as many of the would-be celebrities home as they come always some after.
“Battle of the Reality Stars”: Puzzling newcomers
In episode four there is a grinning Ken clone named Marcellino, who announces beaming with joy: “I not only train my mind, I also train my body.” To do everything in the next two hours to refute the first part of his statement.
The second newcomer creates even more puzzles: is it Naddel? Gina-Lisa? The residents ask themselves. No, it is: Aurelie Tshamala! Why didn’t they say that right away! Wasn’t it …? Isn’t that …? Uhhhh …? “I think half of them didn’t even know me,” she complained shortly after arriving. Which is not entirely accurate. The other half had no idea who she was either.
“Which star is interchangeable?”
Time to get to know each other better. And how could that be easier than playing a game together? “Which star is interchangeable?” It says, which is surprisingly not a rhetorical question. Have participants assess how the audience would arrange them. Landing in front in terms of uniqueness Georgina Fleur, rear newcomer Marcellino Kremers. But it turns out quite differently: The audience considers Aurelie to be particularly remarkable, Johannes Haller and Willi Herren rather not. Apparently the viewers of “Kampf der Realitystars” aren’t much smarter than the participants of the show.
But it’s still far too quiet in Phuket. Quick on the champagne drip and spin the bottle, the guarantee for intimate confessions since the teenage days, which one should have kept to oneself. At Melissa Damilia they are obviously too long ago. When asked with whom she had her most beautiful kiss, she naively replies: Pietro Lombardi. Immediately it rang out to her: “This is headlines again!”.
Actually a compliment, it is the only reason for the “Battle of the Reality Stars“. Melissa, on the other hand, rushes out of the room, crying. Johannes Haller follows, he kneels in front of her, holds her hand, he won’t be …
Sandy gets loud to Georgina
Shortly before we find out whether he would have asked for her hand by briefly exposing the cerebellum, loud screams interrupt this intimate moment. Sandy yells at Georgina. What he says is not entirely clear, apparently a horde of hyper-aggressive mice has the soundtrack between their teeth, it just beeps loudly over and over again. The consensus: Georgina has a friend of Sandy Fähse outed as gay. Apparently the worst that can happen to a person in his world. He is not gay at all.
Sandy threatens the worst abuse he can think of. His mother would say, “How can you hang out with someone like that!” Because his mother is correct! And anyway: “I hate you!” Whereupon Georgina runs out into the forest. Why, nobody knows, maybe looking for Sandy’s correct mother? The rest doesn’t care, they just go to sleep.
Georgina lies, Willi complains
Then a glass of champagne the next morning. “None of them drink,” complains Georgina. “That I do not understand.” Which is not entirely wrong in view of the society there. Then Momo comes up too. He wants to know from her and Sam who to choose when making the decision. The answer: Willi, who earns the most of all anyway, has enough money and wants to go back to his wife. Apparently not the answer that the harmonious Monchhichi wanted to hear, he snaps right away.
Willi gentlemen is shocked. Which is really a shock, because the former “Lindenstrasse” actor can apparently still shock a bit after what feels like 957 reality formats. Or maybe he’s a better actor than we thought before. He confronts Georgina: “You little bitch!” Okay, actually he insults her: “If that’s true, you’re dead to me.” Momo adds: “Why are you denying that? I don’t understand. I’m really sad now.” Can someone bring the man a handkerchief? Or put your thumb in your mouth? That always worked for the Monchhichis.
The next game is waiting
But RTL 2 doesn’t have that much empathy. Instead, the candidates must advance to the next game in teams of two. It’s about dipping your bare torso in foam and then scratching off a picture on a pane. You know that from the sexy car wash you trust. Whoever wins is sure to be part of the next episode. Actually a reason to lose, the celebrities are competing anyway.
In combination with maximum explosive power, of course. For example Willi Herren and Johannes Haller. But no sooner have the covers fallen and the upper body smeared over the window in unison, are the differences forgotten: “We had a surprising amount of fun,” says Haller. And adds: “It brought us closer together.” Which means for the rest of the show: no more soap tubs for the two of them. Not that they will still become friends and blow up the broadcast concept.
Lonely together in “Battle of Reality Stars”
Fortunately, this cannot happen to Georgina and Sandy. They also compete together, but the enthusiasm is limited. After her antics, Georgina fears that her roommates will throw her out, and that’s exactly what Sandy wants. The two are accordingly successful. Georgina fails because of the word that has to be solved: champagne. Actually her favorite drink – but who gets the idea to read the label? Which is why she has to tremble again after the victory of Dijana Cvijetic and Kate Merlan when making the decision.
Unsurprisingly, most of the votes fall on her and Sandy. It’s four to four when Dijana Cvijetic returns the favor for the blonde drawer she put Sandy in. Georgina laughs in relief, much to the displeasure of the others. She apparently forgot that the two newcomers Aurelie and send another person home to Marcellino.
They make it exciting as usual – and decide in favor of Princess Andrea von Sayn-Wittgenstein. Sheer horror spreads. What should become of this show, if now every week those have to go who do NOT attract attention? Kate Merlan knows the answer: “It’s getting worse and worse. I can feel it.”
