Hagen Mills, American actor known for his role in the series ‘Baskets’, committed suicide on Tuesday night, at the age of 29, after an alleged assassination attempt, confirmed on May 20 the Mayfield Police Department on their Facebook account.
Mills’ body was found by Police after officers responded to warnings about a shooting at the artist’s house in Mayfield, Kentucky.
Upon investigation, it was determined that the actor had held his 4-year-old daughter and the mother of his partner, Erica Price, hostage in his home. When the bride entered, Mills shot him several times, wounding her before committing suicide. However, the woman was able to run out of the house and call the authorities.
According to the Police, Price suffered “gunshot wounds to his arm and chest“and is currently stable. His mother and daughter no damage.
Graves County Coroner said this Wednesday to E! News that Mills’ autopsy confirms that the cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
