Digital push through the pandemic
The Chancellor also pointed out that while the coronavirus pandemic “accelerates learning loss,” it has also led to a digital push. “Austria has adopted a comprehensive eight-point plan for digital learning, which includes a digital school portal to improve communication, teacher training and the expansion of IT infrastructure in schools,” said the Chancellor during the meeting. He has offered further cooperation with the United Nations “in view of the Future Summit 2023” to “work on transforming education”. After all, this is “the foundation for a peaceful global future, for our children and our societies”.
