BankID became aware of the error at around 10.15 am on Tuesday. It is not known how many people are affected by the problems.
– But there is probably quite a bit. We apologize of course that some customers have to wait a bit and try several times, says communications manager Hege Steinsland VG.
BankID is an electronic identification system used by several Norwegian banks and other organisations.
