Bahar Smith Islamic Boarding School Thrown by 3 Dog Heads in Bogor

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

The Tajul Alawiyyin Islamic Boarding School belongs to the speaker Bahar bin Smith in the Kemang area, Bogor Regency, West Java, three pieces of dog heads were thrown by an unknown person on Friday (31/12) early this morning.

Bahar’s lawyer, Ichwan Tuankotta said the terror occurred at around 02.30 WIB this morning. He said the boarding school saw an unknown person throwing cardboard and plastic packages containing the dog’s head from outside into the pesantren’s inner area.

“It was thrown into the hut by someone who didn’t know our identity. There was also some kind of wood or frame that was thrown. I don’t know what that meant,” said Ichwan to CNNIndonesia.com, Friday (31/12).

Ichwan believes that the dog head terror must have something to do with the legal case that is currently entangling his client. He then asked all parties to respect the ongoing legal process rather than carry out acts of terror.

“What about the terrors. Right, someone has already reported it. We just respect it. There’s no need to use terror at all,” he said.

Separately, another lawyer for Bahar, Aziz Yanuar, explained that the throwing of the dog’s head was carried out by four unidentified people using motorbikes.

“Thrown black plastic containing the heads of 3 dogs and a box with the words don’t open it by unknown people using a motorbike. After throwing them they ran away,” said Aziz.
