The federal police are looking for witnesses for a
sexual harassment that is said to have occurred after a regional train departed from Bad Krozingen station.
On Saturday, July 23, 2022, at around 7:04 p.m., after the departure of regional train 17190 from Bad Krozingen station in the direction of Freiburg im Breisgau, sexual harassment to the detriment of a female passenger is said to have occurred. The suspect is said to have left the train at Freiburg im Breisgau main station around 7:18 p.m.
The victim described the unknown man as follows:
Approx. 30 – 50 years old, 168 – 170 cm tall, short black hair, slightly tanned skin with conspicuous white spots on the right arm and neck, spoke broken German. The man is said to have been wearing a red T-shirt with a print on the front and red or black knee-length pants. He is also said to have carried a black travel bag with wheels and an extendable handle.
The federal police have initiated criminal proceedings and are looking for witnesses to the incident. People who observed the incident and can report on it or who may have photographed or videoed the event are asked to contact the federal police on 07628 80590.
