The Secretary of Public Education (SEP) started the registration and re-registration process automatic for elementary-level public school students in Mexico City.
From today until September 11, registrations will be made automatically for students who will enter the 1st of Preschool, Primary and Secondary in the capital of the country, as long as they have obtained their Proof of Assignment.
Those who submitted a request to change schools from 2nd to 6th of Primary and 2nd to 3rd of Secondary, or for extemporaneous enrollment for Preschool, 1st of Primary and 1st of Secondary, once the answer is notified and they obtain their Proof of Assignment, they will apply automatic enrollment.

Likewise, female and male students who continue in the same school will be automatically re-enrolled to the corresponding grade.
To administratively finalize the registration process, the necessary documents must be delivered in person during the first three months of the School Cycle.
The documents will be delivered when the epidemiological traffic light of Mexico City is green and the schools are operating in person.
The documents that must be delivered in the first three months of the school year are the following:
Preschool education
• Original and copy of the Birth Certificate or equivalent legal document (for comparison).
• CURP certificate.
• Original and copy of the Vaccination Record (for collation).
• Medical examination issued by any public or private institution.
• Four photographs of the applicant, child size, color or black and white.
• Three photographs of each of the persons authorized to pick up the student, child size, color or black and white.
• Evaluation report or evaluation report of the current and / or previous grade (s), if applicable.

Primary education
