Back to basics: the breakdance finale in New York

The road to the final

National qualifiers, known as BC One Cyphers, were held in 30 countries throughout the year. The winners of these competitions – 60 national champions – will fly to New York to get their last ten tickets for the World Final at Last Chance Cypher on Thursday (10th November). The four Last Chance Cypher winners will each be joined by a B-Girl and a B-Boy, who will each receive the Most Outstanding Breaker title from the judges, a new category this year.

defending champion

On Saturday, 16 b-boys and 16 b-girls will compete for the world title. B-Boy Amir from Kazakhstan and B-Girl Logistx from the United States, who won the 2021 World Finals in Poland, are aiming to defend their titles this year.

The World Finals will be hosted by rapper / songwriter MyVerse and well-known Breaker and “You Got Served” actor B-Boy Wicket. Legendary artists will also appear such as rapper and producer Rakim, hip-hop duo Black Sheep, legendary DJ and MC Grandmaster Caz and world-renowned and multi-talented dance band Jabbawockeez. DJ Skeme Richards provides the right beats for the night.
