AYANEO FLIP DS
Reservations for AYANEO’s 2-screen portable gaming PC “FLIP DS” and keyboard-equipped PC “FLIP KB” have started at High Beam Akihabara Main Store.
Two models are available, one equipped with Ryzen 7 7840U and one equipped with Ryzen 7 8840U.The pre-order price is 169,800 yen for FLIP DS equipped with 7840U/32GB memory/2TB SSD, 163,000 yen for FLIP KB, and 143,000 yen for FLIP DS equipped with 8840U. From 138,000 yen, FLIP KB starts from 138,000 yen. The expected shipping date is late May for the 7840U model and late June for the 8840U model.
The store is exhibiting the actual machine for a limited time until March 31st (Sunday).
AYANEO FLIP DS
“AYANEO FLIP DS” is AYANEO’s first portable gaming PC with dual screens. The model equipped with Ryzen 7 7840U is only available in 32GB memory/2TB SSD configuration (reservation price 169,800 yen), and the model equipped with Ryzen 7 7840U is 16GB/512GB model (143,000 yen), 32GB/2TB model (176,000 yen), 64GB/2TB (213,000 yen) configurations are available.
It features a 120Hz drive 7-inch full HD (1,920 x 1,080 dots) and a 3.5-inch 960 x 640 dot display. Both support touch operations.
In addition to displaying TDP, temperature, frame rate, etc. on the sub-screen, it is also possible to play videos while playing games.
Interfaces include USB4, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, OCuLink, UHS-II compatible microSD card slot, audio input/output, 6-axis gyro sensor, etc. Battery capacity is 45Wh. The size is 180 x 102 x 29.8 ~ 37.5 mm, and the weight is approximately 650 g.
