Axiom-1 Crew’s Return to Earth Delayed Due to Bad Weather

The SpaceX Ax-1 mission launched on April 8, 2022 and flew four commercial Axiom Space astronauts, three of whom were paid passengers, to the international space station (ISS). The four astronauts were commander Michael López-Alegría, a former NASA astronaut; and paying passenger Larry Connor, an American businessman; Mark Pathy, a Canadian businessman; and Israeli investor and entrepreneur Eytan Stibbe.

Connor, Pathy and Stibbe each paid $55 million for the flight. During the voyage, the Ax-1 astronauts have carried out a series of experiments, helped create NFTs on the station, carried out educational activities and enjoyed spaceflight experiences.

The Ax-1 mission was originally expected to last about 10 days, eight of which aboard the international space station.
