MusicAs usual, the Emmy Awards for daytime programs were also presented this year. This weekend the figurines in the categories ‘Children & Animation’ and ‘Fiction & Lifestyle’ were distributed via a live-stream event. Big winners included actors Zac Efron (33) and Mark Hamill (69).

The Daytime Emmys are awarded each year to individuals and programs that are broadcast between 2 a.m. and 6 p.m. Programs that fall outside prime time, but are not inferior for that reason. Saturday’s ‘Children’s and Animation’ ceremony was hosted by Raven-Symoné, known for the current Disney Channel series ‘Raven’s Home’, as well as for the former children’s program ‘That’s So Raven’. The presentation of the ‘Fiction and Lifestyle’ ceremony on Sunday was in the hands of American comedienne Loni Love.

At Sunday night’s awards, the Netflix series ‘Dash & Lily’ was the big winner in both the ‘Outstanding Writing Team’ and Best Supporting Actor categories, with Jodi Long taking home the award for her portrayal as Mrs. Basil. . Zac Efron became the big winner in the category ‘Outstanding Daytime Program Host’ for his Netflix series ‘Down To Earth With Zac Efron’. In it, the actor travels the world in search of healthy and sustainable ways of life.
