The winners of the nationwide “Climate Active Municipality 2022” competition have been announced: Bielefeld and Darmstadt received awards from the group of member cities of the German Association of Cities in the category “Climate-Friendly Mobility”, the cities of Amberg and Münster were honored in the category “Climate-Friendly Administration”.
At its municipal climate conference, the German Institute for Urban Studies announced and honored the winners of the “Climate Active Municipality” competition. A jury selected the ten equal winners from 107 applications. They each receive prize money of 25,000 euros for their climate projects, which goes into other climate activities.
