According to Rambler, earlier two policemen from Kagarlyk were detained on suspicion of torture and rape of a woman, as well as torture of a man.
According to investigators, the police summoned the woman to the police station as a witness, beat her and raped her several times. They also threatened to rape a man who was at that time in the ward, beat him on the head with batons and put him on his knees.
“Both the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police are a reflection, slice and flesh from the flesh of Ukrainian society. Among us there are heroes, hard workers and, unfortunately, there are those who break the law, ”Avakov commented on what happened.

He urged not to blame the whole police because of “a few villains.” The Minister emphasized that the Ministry of Internal Affairs does not cover these employees, but acts “quickly, firmly, in accordance with the law.” The police station in which they worked disbanded, the police were taken out of staff.
