The Government of San Luis, through the Molino Fénix and Casa de la Música, celebrates the month of August with a range of activities for all ages and audiences, highlighting the month of childhood. This was announced at a press conference by Joaquín Beltrán, administrator of the complex, Diego Torres, theater coordinator, Exequiel Scarel, coordinator of Casa de la Música, together with members of the Mercury Effect Band, César Guerberoff and Maru Abecilla.
On Friday, August 4, at the Mill’s Marble Wall, “Legado” arrives, a show of hairstyles and live shows for the whole family starting at 4:00 p.m. At night, at 9:00 p.m., the Villa Mercedes Choral Band, Mercury Effect, Tribute to Queen, performs in concert. On Saturday the 5th at the same time it will be the second, also in the theater of the complex.
On Sunday 6, at the theater, the School of Malambo “El Resero” performs the second dance meeting starting at 6:00 p.m. In addition, on Saturday the 19th, the “Street Style” Rhythm Academy will hold its annual gala, while on Sunday the 27th, the “Cuna Nativa” Folk Dance Academy will hold a gala.
Children’s month
To celebrate Children’s Day, the complex organizes a series of shows for the entire month of August.
On Saturday the 19th, two companies with an outstanding presence in the province of San Luis arrive on the esplanade of the complex with free admission: “La Familia Von Pérez” from Merlo and “Valle Circo” from Villa Mercedes. The event will start at 15:00.
Meanwhile, on Sunday 27, to close the festivities, the national musical band “Pequeño Pez” performs. Also with free admission to the esplanade at 3:00 p.m.
At the same time, the Mill workshops will offer different activities for the little ones during both days.
