[Rassegna stampa] Audi offers a more than complete range to those who decide to choose a car of the Four Rings. The German brand has integrated a 360 ° line-up, both from the point of view of the segments and from that of the power supplies: SUVs, urban cars, sports cars, petrol, diesel, hybrids.

From urban cars to maxi seven-seater SUVs; from gasoline sports cars of over 600 HP to 100% electric cars, passing through the hybrid – in mild and plug-in version – and electrified diesel. Audi’s offering is truly enormous, capable of “tailoring” the needs of each user. A range destined to further expand thanks to a four-year plan which, by 2024, will involve investments of 37 billion in research and development, buildings and factories: of these, 12 billion will be destined for electric mobility. So, by the end of this luster 30 high electrification models are expected, of which 20 fully electric: the next, after the sport utility e-tron and its Sportback version, will be a four-door coupe with breathtaking performance, closely related to the Porsche Taycan. Audi is among the very few manufacturers to boast a range of plug-in hybrid engines with different power levels: from 252 to 455 hp and which combine four and six-cylinder turbocharged thermal units with an electric motor. The refills of the four rings include the brand new A3 Sportback, a best-seller, the A6 sedan, the A7 four-door coupe, the flagship A8 and the SUVs Q5 and Q7. All of them ensure zero emission autonomy between 50 and 60 km and charging times in the order of two and a half hours (by connecting to the AC columns). Advantages? Reduced consumption, as well as taxation and mobility in subsidized LTZ. The 48 Volt mild-hybrid editions of the Q3 and Q3 Sportback debuted more recently: they are the first SUVs of the brand equipped with this technology, with a 1.5 TFSI 150 HP engine and an additional electric motor. Models that, in addition to the seven-speed automatic transmission and the four-wheel drive, boast regenerative braking system – which accumulates the energy generated during slowdowns and stores it in a dedicated battery – and the cylinder on demand device, which switches off two cylinders in low load conditions, in order to implement efficiency. It should be remembered that the engine range also includes a 2-liter turbocharger with 230 HP and a turbodiesel of the same size offered with powers of 150 and 190 HP. Inside stands out the instrumentation with 10.25 ″ display, while the infotelematic system uses an 8.8 ″ or 10.1 ″ panel depending on the set-ups: there is no shortage of connected technologies, such as the intelligent personal assistant, Amazon Alexa and Car-To-X, which allows you to detect the green wave of traffic lights.
