This Monday will begin the application of the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19 in adults from 18 to 49 years in 10 different municipalities of Sonora, announced the Secretary of Health through his social networks.

Enrique Clausen Iberri published on his social networks the notice about the application of the reagent in small municipalities such as Átil, Oquitoa, Pitiquito, Puerto Libertad, Desemboque, Santa Ana, Trincheras, Benjamin Hill, El Claro and El Ocuca.

It will be from this Monday, July 18, the start of mass vaccination in these municipalities, so people who come for the application of the reagent will receive the first dose of AstraZeneca.

In this way, the state official emphasized that adults between 18 and 49 years of age in these municipalities should come with their proof of registration and their official identification so that the application of the vaccine is possible.

Meanwhile, Clausen Iberri also pointed out that the application of the first dose of AstraZeneca for this age group will be suspended until further notice in the municipalities of Guaymas and Caborca.

It should be noted that, despite the announcement, the number of doses that the authorities have to vaccinate the population has not been released, so it is advisable to go with all the requirements from this Monday.
