Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Spanish club Atletico Madrid announced on Monday that it has reached a definitive agreement with its counterpart Barcelona, under which French striker Antoine Griezmann would join the squad, to indefinite period until 2026.
Atlético Madrid said on their Twitter account: “Antoine Griezmann has signed his new contract as a Rojiblancos player at Civitas Stadium”.
Press reports said the deal was worth $ 20 million, plus $ 4 million on top of it.
The striker of the French national team has been loaned to Atletico Madrid for two seasons, from the ranks of the “Catalan team”.
