Atlético de Madrid’s 20 Consecutive Victories at the Cívitas Metropolitano: Streak Comes to an End

Madrid, Nov 19 (EFE).- The draw against Getafe this Wednesday ended Atlético de Madrid’s streak of 20 consecutive victories in all competitions at the Cívitas Metropolitano stadium, the best in its history at home, until it returned to give up points ten months and 15 days later, precisely against the same opponent.

Since last February 4, with a 1-1 against the blue team, everything has been victories for Atlético in their stadium, until their reunion with the same rival, when this Tuesday they stopped the best home record of their more than 120 years, at the same level as another established by Simeone, which began on May 5, 2012 and ended on February 14, 2013.

The current streak, concluded this Tuesday, with 56 goals for and 15 against, between their 17 wins in LaLiga EA Sports and the three in the Champions League, began on February 19, with a 1-0 against Athletic Club .
