We have sent a difficult political year – two unsuccessful parliaments, finally a majority has been formed and a government has been formed, which will probably not have 100 days to line up, because it started on the first day. This was stated on BNT by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and Co-Chair of “Democratic Bulgaria” Atanas Atanasov.
According to Atanasov, President Radev must realize that he is not the patron of this government. He added that everyone should realize that the new prime minister’s name is Kiril Petkov and that there is a quadruple coalition with political antipodes in it.
According to him, the country needs the political stability that came with this parliament and the elected government.
He blamed the former GERB rulers, who have not completed the gas connection with Greece for 12 years, but have sought the minister’s account for the delay after he took office for 20 days. Against this background, the Russian gas pipeline through Bulgaria to Serbia has been built for 1 year, Atanasov said, adding that Bulgaria has paid for the pipeline on our territory, although we have no interest in that.
