According to predictions, this large asteroid will cross our planet on Christmas Day.
Asteroid 501647 (2014 SD224) is on the US space agency’s “Close Approach” list and can be up to 689 feet wide. That’s for two football fields.
It is thought to come within 1.9 million miles of Earth. Although it is not risky at all, but in terms of space it is quite close.
