As part of Inside Xbox, Ubisoft has released new video material and thus the first in-game scenes Assassin’s Creed Valhalla released. However, the gameplay that many players had hoped for could not be seen. The trailer consists more of a series of in-engine scenes. That looks pretty good and also reveals a lot about the game, but many fans would probably have wanted more.
Ubisoft has already announced that more videos will follow before the release for the 2020 Christmas season. Then certainly with more insight into the mechanics of the game. But the current trailer already reveals some details.
For example, the raid mechanics can be seen, in which the player can raid English villages and even fortresses. This includes entire sieges. In the trailer, for example, a battering ram and a ballista can be seen on the wall of the defending fortress. There is also confirmation that the heroine Eivor can use throwing axes and bows. Ranged also seems in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to be an important part and there will probably be other ranged weapons as well.
The fans will find out how the whole thing will play out at Christmas 2020. It has a specific release date Assassin’s Creed Valhalla not yet, but it will surely follow within the coming months.
