Ashley Young Willing To Leave Inter If Asked Watford

Ashley Young could have just left Inter Milan before the contract expires. It can happen if Watford who called.

The 2020 summer transfer market is closed. There are no more player purchase transactions between cross-country leagues in Europe.

Before the transfer market closed, Young admitted that he opened up opportunities to leave Inter. He’s thought about that despite having played in the first three games this season for the Nerazzurri.

The only reason Young can leave Inter is if Watford comes. The English club is the place where Young first learned football and started a professional career.

Young was at a professional level with Watford for three and a half years. Then he left to Aston Villa to then enjoy the good times of Manchester United before joining Inter Milan.

“If I have the chance to get back to playing there (Watford) again, I’ll be out of Italy now,” Young told The Hornets Golden Tales podcast.

“Because that’s what I know, that’s where I come from and what I’m getting right now is the result from there. They gave me a humble start,” Young continued.

Young is already in his second season with Inter Milan. His contract expires next year and has made 28 appearances so far for La Benemata.

Watford this season appear in the Championship division after finishing last season in the Premier League relegation zone. Young once helped Watford win promotion tickets to the Premier League in the 2005/2006 season.
