The number of coronavirus infections in Burgenland increased by 28 to 117 on Thursday. The increase is due to the number of tests that were carried out by the AGES Institute for Microbiology and Hygiene, reported the “Coronavirus Coordinating Staff”. Cases were also reported for the first time in the Güssing district.
According to the coordination staff, the Oberwart district is most affected with 40 and the Neusiedl am See district with 27 cases. There are now three cases in the district of Güssing, where there has not yet been a Covid 19 disease. In the free city of Rust, however, no positive coronavirus test has yet been reported.
