KOMPAS.com – Nick Wilson (13), teenager origin Deli Serdang, was found dead and his body was rotting in a sack in Sungai Merah, Tanjung Morawa District, Wednesday (19/8/2020).
According to mother victim, Nick just celebrated his birthday on August 15th.
“It was August 15th birthday. He is 13 years old. So waking up he had time to hug me. I was surprised I said why did you hug Mom all of a sudden. He said Mamak forgot, he said it was his birthday, “said Mirawati.
Mirawati admitted that she was shocked and did not believe that her baby died in a tragic way.
“Because I wanted to buy breakfast, I gave him the money. After buying breakfast, I returned home to return the change but after that he left again and did not come back again,” said Mirawati.
Not a problem child
According to the victim’s uncle, Bob Fahmi, Nick was not a problem child. The family doesn’t know why Nick was killed.
“We don’t see any signs that he has a problem. He’s still in the 2nd grade of junior high school,” said Bob. Tribunnews, Saturday (22/8/2020).
Bob added, when his nephew went out to find breakfast.
Nick leaves on his Jupiter Z motorcycle. After getting home, Nick then left again, and never came home.
“He lives in the same house with me. When he said goodbye he and his mother just bought breakfast but then didn’t come home again,” said Bob.
After that, the family reported to the police.

Recognize the victim’s clothes
Mirawati couldn’t believe it when she heard the news that her son’s body was found in the Red River.
However, after seeing the photos circulating widely on social media, he recognized the clothes the victim was wearing.
“Seen from the cellphone, I was a bit hesitant at first. But from the clothes it looks like the same. I saw that there weren’t any clothes at home like that either. Only at that time my son’s body was rather big,” he said.

Moments later, the police contacted him to ask to identify the body in the sack.
Mirawati then with her family went to the Bhayangkara Medan hospital.
After seeing the features on the body, especially the blonde dye in the hair, Mirawati believed that the corpse was her child.
“Yes, it is true, the body that was found was identified as a student of SMP 2 Galang,” said the Head of the Reksrim, Police, Police, Serdang, Police Commissioner M Firdaus when contacted, Saturday (22/8/2020) morning.
