Arya Sinulingga denies insulting ethnic Acehnese. (PSSI Doc)

Member of the PSSI Exco Arya Sinulingga denied insulting ethnic Acehnese as stated by the President Persiraja Banda AcehNazaruddin Dek Gam.
This denial was conveyed by Arya Sinulingga at a press conference in Medan, Tuesday (28/11).
On Monday (27/11), Dek Gam reported Arya Sinulingga, who is also the founder of Sada Sumut FC, to the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit on charges of insulting ethnic Acehnese during the match between the two teams at the Baharoedin Siregar Stadium, Saturday (25/11).
“As I said earlier, I never talk about SARA, let alone insulting ethnic Acehnese,” said Arya Sinulingga at a press conference in Medan, quoted from Medan Seconds.
Arya said Dek Gam’s words could disrupt the good relations between the people of Aceh and the people of North Sumatra.
“Because we in North Sumatra have families, we are everywhere, we have united our friends from the people of Aceh, that’s why I’m also sad that Mr. Nazaruddin came as a guest here saying that’s SARA, don’t disturb the good relations between us all here in Sumatra North that way,” said Arya.
At the press conference, Arya was accompanied by the former General Chair of PSSI who is also the coach of PSMS Medan, Edy Rahmayadi and one Ayam Kinantan official. Both admitted that they had not heard Arya insult the Acehnese ethnic group.
“Earlier, Bang Edy was next to me, Bang Andry was also there, I never said Aceh insulting Aceh, I never said those words,” he said.
Regarding Dek Gam’s report to Bareskrim Polri, Arya admitted that he was not afraid and would face the report.
“I’m just relaxing, which means accept it, just process it later, because I think I’ve never talked about SARA, we’re actually fine,” said Arya.
On that occasion, Arya also touched on the moment when Dek Gam was sent away at the end of Sada FC’s match against Persiraja.
“Because we still appreciate and respect why at the end of our new match I sent him away, because I just appreciate and respect him, I’m annoyed, because many times he continues to appear in the match,” said Arya.
