The standout quotes from his podcast were when Kroos spoke about how he and Zidane disagreed with the referee’s decisions against Sevilla.

Kroos explained why he felt that Militao did not commit a penalty:
“My opinion is very clear and it is very rare that I disagree with the referee,” Kroos continued. “That was such a day. If you have the feeling that you are disadvantaged in such a way and that with such meaning … that’s one thing I say: it doesn’t work. His back is to the ball and he doesn’t even see it.
