Arsenal moved away at the top of the English Premier League, after sweeping its guest Everton 4 goals without a response, on Wednesday evening at the Etihad Stadium, in a postponed match from the seventh round.

Bukayo Saka opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 40th minute, then Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli added the second goal in the last minute of the first half.

In the second half, the hosts continued their superiority and added two more goals, through Norwegian captain Martin Odegaard in the 71st minute, and Martinelli again in the 80th minute.

According to the “Opta” statistics network, thanks to Saka and Martinelli’s scoring today, Arsenal has become the only team in the English Premier League this season that has two players who have reached the 10-goal barrier.

Arsenal are waiting for relatively easy matches in the English Premier League during the current March, as they face Bournemouth, Fulham and Crystal Palace, before opening the month of April against Leeds United and then Liverpool.

And Mohamed Salah raised his score to 20 goals this season in various competitions with Liverpool, to repeat this achievement for the sixth consecutive season with the red team.

This season, Salah scored 9 goals in the English Premier League, 8 goals in the Champions League, and one goal in the FA Cup, the Professional Clubs League Cup and the Charity Shield.
