Arrests of Fernando José Amador Domínguez and Henry Moisés Olivero Linares in New Hampshire for Identity Theft

Fernando José Amador Domínguez and Henry Moisés Olivero Linares, residents of The Bronx (NYC), were arrested by police in New Hampshire in an investigation into identity theft during a transaction.

Authorities said the investigation revolved around the use of another person’s identity used to buy electronic products fraudulently.

It all started when the identity of a Hudson, Hillsborough County (NH) resident was used to fraudulently obtain equipment in early December, prompting police to be on the lookout for similar attempts.

Therefore, police received information from a local business on Saturday, December 23 that Olivero Linares was apparently trying to obtain some electronic devices and when officers responded he allegedly ran out of the business and got into a vehicle driven by Dominguez.

After a brief police chase, both suspects exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot, but were caught.he pointed NBC News. Both men were detained and appeared in Hillsborough County Superior Court on Tuesday.

Dominguez was charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, forgery and conspiracy to commit robbery, all of which are felonies. He was also charged with disobeying a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing government administration and driving without a valid license. Olivero Linares was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and resisting arrest, police detailed. it’s a statement.

All charges are mere accusations and those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

According to a recent survey, 50% of respondents said they had been a victim of identity theft in 2023.

In November a man was sentenced to prison for burglarizing the home of an elderly widow in Queens (NYC) posing as his son and then selling the property for $270,000. After being discovered, he pleaded guilty to identity theft and offering a false statement to file it.

In a similar case, that month a woman was also arrested in The Bronx (NYC) for allegedly robbing the home of a dead man who had the same name as his also-deceased father, then selling the property and squandering the funds on jewelry and a luxury car.
