Focused on continuing to work towards the recognition of mental health as a human priority, Ari Telch brings back his soliloquy Mind, through which the actor reflects on and presents various psychiatric and psychological illnesses, their contemporary paradigms and the way they affect people’s lives.

Since its premiere, it has become one of the public’s favorites, attracting thousands of spectators as it passes through the Mexican billboard. Now it presents its third season that is intimately influenced by what the pandemic has caused in the last two years, what we have learned and what we still need to understand.

This task of destigmatizing mental illness is not the task of a soliloquy, of a person or a doctor, it is a task that even the state has to do. We need mental hygiene programs to emerge from elementary school so that our children know that the brain gets sick”, explained Ari Telch in an interview with M2.

The actor highlighted the passage of his theatrical proposal through Mexico over the years as an important activity in the constant fight for the visibility of mental illness. His work continues to break down the prejudices around them and around psychologists and psychiatrists. Likewise, he concludes that more information is needed in this regard.

“I hope that Mind influence many people, in fact, it has. There are people who have sought help and return us many hugs for that information that is revealed there, information that makes you understand that the brain gets sick as any organ gets sick, ”he added.

The actor assured that for the performances of this season they already have more than half of the confirmed seats and that in his passage through the streaming format he attracted almost 50 thousand people.

Ari Telch is committed to continuing to share information about mental health and his own experiences through the theatrical format, noting that this project fulfills him in every way, and inspires him to continue to prioritize it in his career.

“We were born at a time when we had to go through this terrible crisis of mental health in human beings. We have the great fortune to release this at a very good time, which has allowed us to get around the bad times. I am alive, my mental health is more or less fine and we are in the fight, with offers of things that suddenly one has to say no because we are very focused on this work that is activism. I’m happy”, he finished.
